Here’s the keynote presentation I’ll deliver this morning (Singapore time) at the Asia Pacific ICT Summit 2012: Success with Digital Engagement at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
All 4 videos would take about 45 minutes to watch, but if anyone is interested, here they are.
I also recorded a video to explain who should read my book – since that has come up from time to time.
The trip to Singapore was pretty long, it took about a day of flying to arrive and also nice to connect with Andrew Wong of 6dgree.com, who joined me from Melbourne, Australia, to be at the conference, and provided some of the material I adapted for the keynote, above.
I don’t think the presentations are being live streamed, though they are being recorded for later editing, so there will be some footage of the event, but I don’t think it will be shared while the event is going on (though I’ll find out more about that in a couple of hours, once the conference formally begins).
Wednesday I am also presenting what has been called a “master class” – certainly it’s a condensation of what was presented in London during January, where I conducted a class on analytics for an entire day. In one hour, I’m not going after everything, though streamlining the material improves it, as well. Every time I present it, it improves – and with repetition the signal is isolated, and the noise is “filtered out”.
On my way back to the states, later this week, I’ll also be dropping by London, and looking forward to catching up with friends there.
It seems like most of the “action” is taking place at SXSW (I never attended one) in Austin Texas, and I found it ironic that I was actually going further away – Eastward – as many of the other people I know, including some I know in London, headed Westward, to Austin.
Personally, living in NYC, I find New York, itself, is a perpetual South by South West, and have had little actual desire to attend. But neither did I have much of desire to come to Singapore, yet here I am.
There will also be a book signing today as McGraw-Hill has set up a booth in the Exhibition space at the nearby convention center to where I am staying. Also noticed several booths being set up, including one for Brandtology, and hopefully will get a chance to view their offices while I’m here.
