Well… I finally made it …. to the list of WAA Board of Directors Nominees and Returning Directors 2007 - as a nominee. 

That was quite a shock today - reading down the list - letting it all sink in.

I knew I was running for a Seat on the Board of the WAA, but I did not know who else would be running - now I do:  Some pretty well known and experienced people in Web Analytics.

I've met Vicky Brock at the last EMetrics Summit in DC -she's a really nice person who's also very smart.  

Avinash Kaushik …. what can I say that's not already been said … I'm sure he'll be voted on the Board of the WAA.

I've heard of Neil Mason but I don't think we've met and I am also familar with Andrea Hadley but I don't think we've spoken either.   The rest of the people I am not familar with; but I think there might be podcasts, many produced by the Web Analytics Association for some of the Candidates.

Avinash Kaushik did a podcast recently on Measuring New Media which I listed to a couple of months ago. Also, Laurent Flores has a paper on Advances in Abandonement Reduction.  I also did a podcast on Measuring New Media recently.

I'm excited - wondering where it's all going to go.   Hopefully, I'll get to France in June too, to see Cezanne's mountain which I wrote about in Making a Choice.
