Social Web Analytics EBook - print it out and read it

It's rare that I see anything about Web Analytics AND Social Media Web Analytics - and I just did - this ebook on Social Web Analytics was published today - yep - today - by Philip Sheldrake, who says this:

… I define Social Web Analytics as the application of search, indexing, semantic analysis and business intelligence technologies to the task of identifying, tracking, listening to and participating in the distributed conversations about a particular brand, product or issue, with emphasis on quantifying the trend in each conversation's sentiment and influence.

….. This ebook is an introduction to Social Web Analytics (SWA, also known as Social Media Analytics), the driver for it, how it can be applied, the key vendors and their services, and considerations for your organisation’s procurement of such services.

 

I copied the embedded ebook reader from the Social Web Analytics web site - because it looks cool though I'm sure you'll want to have your own copy to look at locally and, probably, printed out, as I am doing.

I was thinking about this glitzy presentation that is going around explaining Social Media - I usually find myself getting brain freeze when I look at this kind of stuff because it's good, but it doesn't really tell you how…
