Turns out that Blogging is good for you - I could tell you that already - it's helped me a great deal and I wrote about it in Blogging is good for your psychological health - CyberPsychology and Behavior. I may also have blogged about it a few other times recently as well.
The information comes, in this case, comes from Discovery News article this month that Blogging's Good For Your Health (they should have specified "Social Health" - which the url includes - http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/03/03/blogging-social-health.html )
To get the actual study, when it's published. you'll have to shell out some money - but I'm sure it'll be echoed somewhere on the blogosphere. Here's more information:
"...The research, from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, found after two months of regular blogging, people felt they had better social support and friendship networks than those who didn't blog."
I wonder if Swinburne University of Technology thought of investigating bloggers who publish content on blog networks ..... are they better adjusted psychologically and socially than their peers?
Ha, ha, I'd be interested in that study.
