Michael Helbling writes about acquisitions in the Web Analytics space with Maxamine and Memetrics acquisitions:
"..Accenture announced today that they are acquiring Maxamine and Memetrics.
Maxamine is a company that audits a web site with a very specialized crawler, identifying where tags are missing and much more.
Memetrics is a Multi-Variate Testing vendor that has some pretty big name clients."
I used Maxamine a few times several years ago to access performance of unix systems, but never did anything productive with it.
I thought it was pretty funny that the announcement page for Memetrics (http://accenture.com/Global/Consulting/Marketing_and_Sales_Effectiveness/memetrics) has Offermatica tags on it ... ;)
