First, I want to mention this post at AllAnalytics.com earlier this week titled Shopping for Social Media Bargains – definitely worth a read.
Second, I’m going to be speaking at the Plugged-In Social Media Summit this Tuesday afternoon 10/25 – the panel I’m on is Customer Retention and for more information or to sign up, here’s a link.
Third, I’ll be speaking on an ROI panel on November 1st (listing is in process of being updated to include my name) at 12:20PM at the Social Media World Forum on November 1st, and moderating and entire tract of presentations and panels on November 2nd as Chair of the Social Media Hub track of sessions (you have to scroll to the bottom of the form to see November 2nd events).

On November 3rd, the next day I’m at SocialCRM 2011 New York for a landmark conference that I’m also speaking at.

I’ll be speaking at 2:50PM on a panel on Customer Listening Strategies, Tools and Techniques
14.50 Discussion: Customer Listening Strategies, Tools & Techniques
Sebastian Hempstead (Brandwatch), Marshall Sponder (WCG), Joshua March (Conversocial)
Off the bat, I think I’ll bring up the LinkedFa presentation I gave in August with McGraw-Hill on the use of WealthEngine + Salesforce + Radian6, which is also the subject of an article I wrote for AllAnalytics.com last month (appearing as I was on my way to London and Rome for a series of book signings and public appearances) titled Social Wealth Analytics – Mining to the Monied. I hope many of my New York readers come to the November 3rd conference as it is unique in that there are few good Social CRM conferences that have appeared, and this is a first here in NYC.
I also have to put another word in for the November 3rd SocialCRM conference, in that some fantastic speakers are going to be there, one’s that I’ve wanted to meet for a while such as @drnatalie but you can look at the entire list on the program.
Not to be forgotten is a November 9th appearance in Rhode Island on the Next Level Show with Anthony Gemma – this will be an in person interview on his Radio show and I expect there will be a podcast of it, plus live streaming.
…
And you know what, if I had not done my Providence book signing (where only 10 people showed up – but the right 10 people showed up)! One person can be a million dollar deal, you just don’t know- says a friend.
And finally, on the subject of book signings – there is one more New York City Book Signing for Social Media Analytics – see the sidebar of this blog for that information and to sign up – it’s part of Ad-Tech and I hope all my readers in NYC and surrounding area can come – it will be a packed event, no doubt – with over 400 people expected (my book signing is only part of the party – but hopefully, most of the 400 will be there for it).
