Just want to let my readers know that I am speaking at a Webinar hosted by Awareness Network on August 25th, 2011. If you sign up for the Webinar there is a bonus, Chapter 9 of Social Media Analytics, which is downloadable immediately.
This is the first time an excerpt from my book is available publicly, from McGraw-Hill.
I decided on Chapter 9 as the sharable chapter as it most closely relates to what The Awareness Hub (publishing platform) does; I’m focusing on the features and benefits of the various social publishing platforms such as Radian6 Engagement Console, Alterian SM2 Engagement Console, Synthesio Unity Console and Awareness, plus anything else I can get my hands on or have, such as Mutual Mind, that may figure into this subject.
Along with this appearance I’ll be speaking at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Essentials for Small Business Conference on July 29th, in Brooklyn NY, at Berkeley College on the subject of social media analytics for small businesses in Brooklyn. I decided to go hyper-local, because the focus of the conference is Brooklyn small business and, I enjoy challenges. Sooner than that, I’ll be back in Newport Rhode Island for the Top of Newport Tweetup this Thursday evening, July 21st.
By applying Social Media Analytics to the tasks at hand, I always end up learning something while also sharing valuable information.
Also working on a book signing for mid/late August in Manhattan (my first choice is Jimi Hendrix’s New York Apartment) and another in Providence, RI in mid September, along with a few more Webinars.
There will also be a few book reviews coming up (more on that later).
