Upcoming Reviews of Analytics Platforms

I’m currently reviewing new features of Synthesio Social Media monitoring platform; also taking a deeper dive into eCairn (blogging / influencer /contact manager) and CisionPoint (I’ll be doing a seminar with Cision in mid November, soon to be formally announced).  There’s a couple of other platforms I am looking at now that are earlier stage but I’ll be talking about them shortly, as well.

And I’m busy writing a book (coming a long nicely so far).

I want to also take a look at viral video tracking and viral campaign tracking and the best way to do it as it’s one thing to create content and another to track what happens to the content.

Another thing that’s coming up (and I am examining it as part of the my book) the scaling issues with social monitoring platforms we currently use (if your using one) and are using the right one, and if not, what should we be using?    I’m seeing platforms in use now are reaching the limit of what they can handle, maybe they’re being made to do too much (but I’ll get into that later, just not today).

Finally, as far as what posts have I seen the most response from in Facebook (for my fans/friends) it’s Stowe  Boyd’s post about Facebook Likes- definitely a hot topic.  Was also at the Pivot conference briefly on Sunday evening and all I heard about was Facebook and how it great it is (which, as much as I like Facebook, sounded hyped).  I’ll leave it at that.
