Attending Online Community Unconference East 2010 today

It’s snowing in NYC – but the Online Community Unconference East 2010 is still going on and I’ll be there and have a lot to say about it after it’s done.

Google Buzz launched today but I haven’t yet gotten it activated in my Gmail – so I’ll wait till it fully rolls out and I get it, to comment.  However I did notice a co-worker got it immediately – and wondered how Google decides who to open up new features like Google Buzz to – is it based on Twitter followers in this case?

Not sure, but it got me thinking about how much Google knows about us.

And Google Buzz is yet another reason why Google will dip it’s foot into Social Media Monitoring soon.
