Attending The Singularity Summit 09 in NYC today

I’m at the Singularity Summit 09 at the 92nd Street Y today, care of a press ticket obtained for me by a friend, Charlie Oliver.

What does Quantum Mechanics have to do with The Singularity? Artificial Intellenge, according to Michael Nielsen (who I am listening to right now).

Kaufmann Concert hall is PACKED with an ENGAGED audience of nerdy techies, philosphers and scientists of various types.
