They come from tweetdeck, twhirl, twitterfox, and all the other apps of sites that use the twitter API. Few people use the web to read tweets...

Search yoast.com for that problem. He gives a solution to that issue. Basically, you add utm variables to your url to get Google analytics to tell you where your visitors come from.</description>
