Twitter Moms – exploring how moms use Twitter (see program for names of panelists, or, I’ll add them later).

Twitter Love Story – Laura Fitton Girl who fell in love with Twitter @pistachio
Overcoming “the other” and make the case Twitter is powered by Love. Or, is Twitter like a Village, interactions are the fabric.

What technology is Twitter disrupting? Survey response was

1)Facebook. 2)Isolation

Note: Laura Fitton is a pretty good speaker.

Laura mentioned popular examples of community (setting your location to Terhan,ETC)

Nerds, Geeks and Dorks (see program for name) – from Bolder, Co. If Geeks are passionate, Dorks are error prone. Nerds are intelligent. A music performance of country music that mimics Nerds, Geeks and Dork, and if your unfortunate enough to be a geek, you don’t have to worry because no one thinks your a geek or dork on Twitter.

Twitter and Mad Men – a bunch of Twitter people started the Twitter Mad Men group. Overwealming response in Blogosphere and Twitosphere was supportive, and while The Mad Men Twitter Profiles were suspended for a day, they were reinstated.

Funny, even the copy machine, dog, and Mark Rothko painting had twitter accounts.

Man Men advice
1-build community (develop passion)
2-learn to listen (keyword alerts)
3-stay on message (and don’t be afraid to delete old tweets)
4-hire the right people

twitterTainment – TwitterTini
Don Drapper

On Twitter, no one knows who you are, woman who are men and vice versa.

TwitterTainer – being an entertainer on Twitter.

Twitter could never be imagined or understood by the founding fathers.

Andrew Keen – Twitter and Power and how Twitter has changed this. This state of Now and the state of Now, Twitter, are remaking the state of Democracy.

But Andrew Keen is more skeptical, instead, he sees more centers if power, new centers, redistribution and shift from one group to another. Jeff Jarvis and Clay Shirkey (and he misquotes the names of both books and the audience errupts in laughter). Tim O’Rielly – SuperBarron of new media, O’Rielly is more valuable than his company. Audience is laughing……!!!! Keen is keeping us very entertained.

Ha! Jeffersonian Children
