Besides the fact that it seems like a solution looking for a problem, the interface looks like an ugly cobbled together hunk-of-junk. What a mess. I completely understand why Douglas Bowman ran for the door. This seems like their, 'Wait, Orkut was failure, what do we do now to respond to Facebook and Twitter? Um, throw everything including the kitchen sink into one platform in a big mash-up and see if it floats!' That's how it looks to me. I’m going to bet against Google Wave.
