On February 5th I’m attending Ultra Light Web Analytics at For Your Imagination – where I’ll be speaking on a panel with Bryan Eisenberg of FutureNowInc.com and Dennis Mortensen of Yahoo! Analytics; there may also have additional people from a few other services like Quantcast and Compete (we’re working on that).

If anyone is into startups and wants to know more about how Analytics can help, come to this event – it’s not expensive ($20 dollars if you don’t pitch an idea, $5 if you do). I hope all my NY friends show up, it’s going to be a great event, and I’m sure, fun to hang out afterwards.
Also, attending Jeff Pulver‘s Social Communications Summit, SocComm taking place on February 10 2009 in New York City; the schedule is pretty good and packed with A List speakers including Gary Vaynerchuk, Fred Wilson, and Jeff Jarvis.

The conference we will explore the state of Social Communications, where things are headed in the future and where the money is today and will be tomorrow; you can still get a ticket by registering. I’ll be live blogging the event along with my usual posting. Would not mind going to the VIP Dinner the night before – didn’t want to ask for too much – but often, I learn a lot from just sitting down and having dinner with people.

In March I’ll be attending Search Engine Strategies New York on March 23-27th where I’ll also be live blogging and doing my regular posting. Along with attending as press, I’d like to speak at SES, and submitted a proposal for Communities for Search – A Powerful Driver for Businesses (part of the Social Media and Blogging track) – perhaps I’ll get the opportunity to present some of my ideas on seeding social networks and blog network with powerful keywords (putting on my SEO hat for a moment).
I still haven’t decided on Emetrics Summit San Jose yet – I’d like to go but it may be more than I can afford. On the other hand, there’s so much going on in NYC the need for travel is diminshed as most of the conferences come here – and it makes more sense to travel when I’m selling something besides my own brand (me).
I may also be attending Social Media Jungle in NYC on March 19th – right now I’m coming up with a pitch about using Art and Social Media – I offered to speak about Metrics and Social Media though the Art approach is more on target.
But, if there’s anything I’d like to do, in addition to all of this, is go back to France and revisit Aix with the same group I went with in 2006 – not sure if that will materialize this year, as it did, then, but that would be one wish I’d like to come true.
