Map of the Social Networking World

Feel like I’m reading a David Eddings novel … but no, I’m actually reading a Social Media Study by Netpop – one that you can get for free by signing up to be registered – no cost involved.

Lest I get stuck in the Ocean of Subculture or rigidly stuck solid in the Icy North (maybe I’ll camp out near the Gulf of YouTube, instead, or fight with Anthropomorphic Dragons at Here Be).

Read all about it in Dan Thornton‘s post at Social Media Today (where I’m sometimes picked up – not enough, if you ask me) Interesting take-out from new social network research

I have to look at the actual research and write something on it – there’s actually quite a few things I haven’t written about that I need to catch up and post on.
