WebmasterRadio Bash at Vivid – San Jose Search Engine Strategies

Went to the Webmasterradio Bash at Vivid last night in San Jose – turned out to be a fairly nice party and one thing stuck out – the use of Acrobats, the kind of thing I had hoped to see at LeWeb3 last December (based on the party they had the year before, in December 2006) but it didn’t happen – La Strada – where the LeWeb3 party was held, had nothing much more than a typical disco.

Last night’s party, was much different – in fact, I’d say that were I to compare the Web Analytics parties to Search parties, the Search team certainly knows how to party more (well, that’s to be expected, I suppose, Web Analysts are more focused and “serious” than Search People.

But even the parties SEMPO has in NYC, seem to have more of an element of entertainment, than equivelent Web Analytics Wednesdays, type gathering.

Anyway, I made this video from the footage I took last night – certainly, it was an entertaining crowd – stayed till about 11:00 PM and then went back to my hotel room – I’m sure there were people who stayed out much later – but I had enough.
