The event was also mentioned in The Street and added to my last post about the Sub-Prime Mortgage Rate Freeze and the Florida Fund Collapse, both of which James Cramer mentioned in his talk and book signing tonight.

I enjoyed listening to Cramer though I'm not sure if he's right about everything he mentioned, or not; but he agrees that Real Estate, buying a home, is a losing money proposition and will continue to be, for at least the next 18 months, if not longer.

Do you know if Jim Cramer’s wife was there? I wasn’t planning to go to his book signing, but I saw this beautiful woman outside B&N on her cell phone, and she smiled back at me and walked inside. I just found myself following her in. She was looking over some books, and I made some stupid smalltalk with her about a recipe book she was looking at. She was the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen in my life. She got in line to buy this book about salad dressings, and there were about five people in front of her and someone said the room was getting full for the signing. I told her I’d go and save her a seat, and she smiled and thanked me. But she never showed up.

I never got the chance to ask her her name, but I recognized her accent and she confirmed she’s originally from Boston and now lives in the Village. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her. I watched the tape to see if she might have been in the room and maybe I missed her, but I didn’t see her in the video. I’m wondering if someone else might have seen her there and knows anything about her. She was wearing a long white coat and had really long blonde hair. Did anyone else see her? Does anyone else know who she might be? Do you think it might have been his wife or something? It seems strange that she went there to see him and then never came into the room. If anyone knows who she is, PLEASE respond. I’m really a nice professional guy who would just like to have the chance to talk with her again.

I even bought a book and got it signed just in case she had to go somewhere. If someone who knows her reads this, please respond as I’d love to buy her dinner and give her this book. As crazy as this seems, I’m really a good guy and I’ve never done anything like this before in my life.
