plusoneanalytics.com brings up a point that is becoming more and more clear to me - we need vendor participation if we're ever going to come up with Web Standards that will be adopted.  While we can't let vendors dominate Standards entirely, we can't create the standards without them or they'll never be implemented.

I was happy to be at Emetrics last week, as was Miagari.  In our Social Media Committee - I'm doing all I can to encourage vendors to join in creating Social Media Standards.
