Radiohead spearheaded new way to sell music online

Seth Godin is right when he wrote about The truth about Radiohead  to continue to evolve the new music revenue model to include membership in clubs and invite only social networks.

I also wrote about RadioHead recently.  In other words, now that Radiohead has proven the concept - don't stop - go further - push it as far as it can go.

Music is something divine. I made a lot of IPOD music download from the internet for remaining in the groove of the music.

There really isn’t anything all that new about Radiohead going independent. NIN did it earlier this year and Prince did it years ago when he “emancipated” himself from Warner Bros. What it does prove is that big names in music can go it alone successfully. I doubt smaller unknown bands would ever have the same success as Radiohead, NIN or Prince without having already built a fan base or having the promotional power and money of a record company behind them.
