Going to MobileCampNYC2

Posted by Marshall on October 22, 2007 | Link It

I went to the last MobileCampNYC about 6 months ago at Pace University and wrote about it in MobileCamp NYC Coverage - now there's a MobileCampNYC2 on Saturday, November 10th, same location, and I'm going to that one too.

"…MobileCampNYC2 is going to once again bring together mobile enthusiasts, explorers and professionals to share the current state and their visions for the future direction of mobility. MobileCampNYC2 hopes to support the many voices helping to unlock the potential of a truly digital life. Topics may include - but are not limited to - mobile gaming, entrepreneurship, social mobility and presence, near field communication, physical hyperlinking, mobile storytelling, the importance of open standards, protocols, and platforms, Linux based devices, and mobility on other continents. "

Some of the same people are coming to this one as well - but at this point, i don't think there's any more space to sign-up.   A couple of subjects I'll be interested in finding out more about are:

Metaverse and the mobile space: intersection or inclusion?

Social implications of ubiquitous systems.

Presence and its applications beyond twittr and jaiku

If anyone reads Webmetricsguru.com and is at MobileCampNYC2, come up and say hello.
