Web Analytics is Easy - Eric T. Peterson

Gee! I thought Web Analytics was difficult - but if your a Web Analytics Association Member, then you can attend.  Otherwise, you'll have to join the WAA to listen to this exclusive, members only Webcast.

"..Available Exclusively for WAA Members!

Join Eric T. Peterson, consultant, practitioner, and best-selling Web analytics author as he outlines his strategy for making Web analytics easy! Based on volumes of recently collected data and nearly a decade in the field, Mr. Peterson will demystify many problems common to Web analytics and get your company headed in the right direction.

It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the volume of metrics and reports that analytics professionals receive every day, but if you set specific goals and can avoid some of the common mistakes, web analytics can positively transform your organization.  Regardless of the technology you use or your level of experience with Web analytics, this is a must-see Web analytics presentation.

At the end of the webcast, Mr. Peterson will be available for an extended Q&A session EXCLUSIVELY for Web Analytics Association members."

Since this is a Members Only Webcast - I can't publish the URL to register - but if your a member - you'll probably know how to register for it and if you not a member of the WAA, you many want to join - because Eric Peterson will probably talk about some Web Analytics stuff that's more "insider" type information.

Anyway, I'll be attending, perhaps even in in person.

On another subject, the day before this event, we have WAA Basecamp here in New York City - and I will be attending that event.

As far as web analytics go, Google Analytic’s value proposition is hard to beat and quite frankly, I get a lot of detailed information about what’s happening on my web sites.

Teaching people how to make sense of analytics is a fine idea but let’s hope they mention Google’s free web site analytics service ; )
