V-Tracker ….Finally!

Code4Software.com has just put up some information on the Web Metrics Package for Second Life called V-Tracker.

I have been interested in V-Tracker since I met Jared Freedman (Ancient Shriner in Second Life) at Virtual Worlds 2007 earlier this year and interviewed Jared for the metrics research I was doing into Second Life Metrics; I found his V-Tracker package was the best thing I've seen coming out of the conference.

I've been able to see V-Tracker as Code4Software has developed the software to the point where it's now being publicly offered.  Here's the info about V-Tracker:

    • Fact Sheet
    • Gallery page - shows that V-Tracker is the closest thing to a version of Google Analytics - or a basic analytics package- that exists for Second Life today. For example, I find the Chat Log review particularly interesting for it's capabilities: business - but that's just one example of how V-Tracker works beyond anything else I've seen to pull data out of Second Life and give it meaning by the way it's stored and accessible.
    • Features -  The data export features are worth the cost of the package itself.
    • Contact  - Find out which version of V-Tracker is right for you.

The most interesting thing about V-Tracker is it's extreme flexibility and ease of setup and use.
