Using Feedamass to pull in external data to Second Life

Posted by Marshall on June 29, 2007 | Link It

I was looking at a nice (if too long) video on using an scripted service in Second Life that can query an external database (like Wikipedia) and return an answer; I read about his on Networked Performance.

But why limit it to Wikipedia?  Why not pull out any bit of data you want from any service that can stream it.  You could even pull Web Analytics Data like that (IE: have a collection process and then feed in data on objects your looking at in Second Life).
