I'm very enthusiastic about Second Life now that I have attended virtualworlds2007, Second Life Immersion Training and am assigned to a Second Life project at IBM.
But I noticed something curious - people I talked with at Search Engine Strategies don't seem to like the idea of Second Life. No one seems to want to consider that Second Life and other 3D Virtual Worlds may someday soon be viable to interact in or that 3D Virtual Worlds may be much cooler than Search Marketing.
In a way, the belief that most search marketers at Search Engine Strategies have about Second Life tells me it does have a future and I'm still trying to understand why Search Marketing is thumbs-down on Second Life.
