New York Times and the Roman Wing of the Metropolitan

I Visited the New Greek and Roman Galleries at the Metropolitan Museum on Sunday and the Met did a great job with new Roman Wing.  But one thing that makes me feel like I'm right back in the Museum is an article and artwork in the New York Times on the new Greek and Roman Galleries

I don't think I've seen a better Flash piece in some time - and I wish I had access to the New York Times Site Catalyst data - I bet analyzing visitor behavior on the Times piece is an Web Analyst's dream.

I could not fit the entire Flash screen on this blog - but you get the idea.  Talk about "engagement" - I think there's a lot of opportunity to be engaged and all kinds of opportunities to measure engagement here.

I did that kind of work last year on IBM's homepage - and it was difficult.  In a way, the Flash piece on the Roman wing reminds me of what Second Life is - 3D; that's often missing in work I'm asked to measure.
