I was recently asked to do a podcast by the Web Analytics Association on Measuring New Media - the interview with me happened today and I'm told the podcast may be up by the weekend. I think it will be my best podcast yet (only my second).
Even though I have been extremely busy lately, I managed to find the time to write down all the questions Kelly Makimaa of the WAA sent to me; I used my SideKick 3 to do it, saving a copy of Kelly's email as a note on the SideKick 3 and then answering each of her questions on my way to/from work last week. I finished up by emailing the note back to my laptop where I touched it up and then sent it to Kelly.
While I could post a link to my notes here - I'd rather present the podcast which will have a transcript with it. I put a great deal of my current thoughts about Web Analytics and Search Engines into this podcast, btw.
By the time the interview occurred today, I had 5 pages of prepared notes - which helped me great deal in focusing and relaxing. I'm not like Avanish Kaushik or Eric Peterson, I don't speak in public much - I tend to avoid it as I have a fear of public speaking. I actually think I'd benefit by hypnosis for it - and if I ever get the nerve and money to do it - I'll try it. I know my wife quit smoking several years ago via hypnosis so I'm a believer.
Anyway, when the podcast is made available by the Web Analytics Association - I'll post a link to it here. I'm excited!
