This article is old, but I felt the need to also comment on the flawed connections the author attempted make.

Newsguru is on Ms.Drew's friend list and considers a friend and colleague. There is no other connection as far as Newsvine is concerned.

As for the articles, tags, etc regarding Ms.Spears, you'll have to take that up with the viewing public. That ONE article is simply ONE of thousands that have been linked the Newsguru column filling the full spectrum: politics, sports, humor, world news, etc.

All those keywords are what people used that led them to that one article years ago. Case closed. Currently, Newsguru is a long-time, upstanding member of the Newsivne community and is currently ranked #26 all-time as of today, and no Spears article in ages. Visit the site instead of relying on "guestimate" sites like Quantcast.

Eh? Pamela Drew is not a Digger. You're confusing Digg and Newsvine. Newsguru isn't even on the Newsvine Leaderboard which lists the Top 25 Users in various categories (and for All Time). Newsguru is probably just on Pamela Drew's "friends list" on her column, and thus, has no influence on her content.

Suggest you find a better way of analyzing, or at least get to know how Newsvine works. The Newsvine Help Group may come in handy: http://help.newsvine.com/
