TechCrunch’s RSS and Traffic Stats

I like the Cristian Mezei's post titled "We’re doing TechCrunch’s Profile, not the other way around" including the Sitemeter Stats for TechCrunch!

If I can compare my traffic on WebMetricsGuru to TechCrunch (we both use Sitemeter ….. it'd go like this

Daily Average Visitors to Webmetricsguru = 745

Daily Average Visitors to TechCrunch = 70,999

I get about 1% of TechCrunch's traffic - so if I got 100 times the traffic I get now (again, we're both using Sitemeter) …… I'd have as much traffic as TechCrunch (and everyone would be knocking on my door!).

Also, Webmetricsguru has 300+ RSS Subscribers while TechCrunch has 140,000 RSS Subscribers when last counted by FeedBurner. Therefore…

Webmetricsguru.com has about 0.21% the subscribers that TechCrunch has!

I think, on average, the ratios of visitors to subscribers is higher on TechCrunch than Webmetricsguru.

It was fun to compare blogs!

Basically your plants can tell you when they need water, sun, food, etc. The service explores the relationship between humans and their plants. They offer a DIY kit that you hook into your ethernet network. After the connections are made, that's when the Twitter magic takes over! </p> <p> The kit has to be soldered together but apparently it only takes an hour.
