Top Google Gadget Developers

Google just published the top 25 Gadget Developers from around the world based on the downloads of their software.

"Meet the most popular gadget developers from around the globe. These talented individuals are leading the charge in making your Google homepage a better place, and we think they deserve a standing ovation!"

What’s intersting is the top Gadget Developer is a 16 year old student  who lives in Arkansas named Caleb Eggensperger.  The top 4 developers are in the West or MidWest.

And another thing I did not know is you can download Google Modules to customize your personalized Google homepage.  Occassionally, I even see Art in the Google Modules, such as the Art of Meg Siegel (see below).

I’m not sure what I’m looking at or how to use it - but the picture looks interesting and it is a Google Module.  And who can forget the  Micro Modernist Art Generator

Or there’s the Human Clock (see below).

There’s a bunch of Google Gadget Software that it worth looking at and I be there are some search innovations in the rough that will end up being part of Google someday soon in the batch of Google Gadgets.
