The Blog 50 — new chart for most influential bloggers

There’s a new chart for influential bloggers that is published weekly - with yesterday being the first time the chart has been published.

The Blog 50 is selected on a weekly basis by top-secret scientific methods. Those methods were handed down from ancient blogs written on cave walls.

I bet the author of this chart is just pickling the bloggers he likes.  Maybe that’s why he’s not talking about a formula.

We don’t really take things too seriously at The Blog 50.  The list, however, isn’t just thrown together haphazardly.  There’s a lot of factors that go into any certain blogger placing on the list, and we actually do keep track of these factors and place people accordingly.  Quality of writing, audience influence, general coolness, and the ability to write engaging material on a long-term basis are all reasons why someone would or wouldn’t’t make the list.

Most of what is mentioned here is still subjective - it’s someone’s opinion…and he puts himself at the top position on the list (now how objective can that be)?

I put myself at the top position on the list? I must have missed that, because I see Peter Rojas on top of the list…
