Going to Review - Getting to First Base: A Social Media Marketing Playbook

I asked for a review copy of Getting to First Base: A Social Media Marketing Playbook  as I'm continually wondering if I have gaps in my knowledge of Social Media (probably everyone does).

That reminds me of an experience I had in France this month when I got together with my Seesmic.com friend, Fred2Baros at a Montmartre Bar and listened to "Gypsy Music" the night before I left to return to NYC after attending LeWeb3.

I pulled out my iPod Touch and showed it to Fred, and then as he played with it I saw how he moved his fingers to make the screen view larger or smaller - and I was trying to figure that out - not always successful.

Just seeing that one thing, make it much easier for me to use the iPod Touch (I haven't used it much, to be honest, I should have gone and gotten the iPhone, instead - I use mainly the Internet part of the iPod, and need wireless networks for that - and most of the time, when I want to use the iPod, there's no wireless network that's open to use - so I haven't used it much - don't really listen to music or watch TV shows on it…that's what I mean).

What I'd want to see out the the Getting to First Base: A Social Media Marketing Playbook is a few tips like that, things that I almost got, but just "missed" or something simple that I didn't know about.  For 29 bucks, that's probably worth it.

I'll let my readers know once I've got the ebook and read it.
