I used the Google Analytics Site Scan Utility by Epik One and was very impressed with what I got out of it, and it was worth every cent of  the 19 bucks I spent on a client's site to see if it had been set up properly for Google Analytics.

Here's what a Sample Report looks like.

What was good about it - it focused me in a way that I've needed - a tool like this is very helpful in making sure the fundamental things you need in GA are set up right - and for some of the sites I'm working with - it's not clear what's wrong or why tracking it not picking up data that's needed.   The SiteScan helped a lot with it and I know some of the people over at Epik One, which is why I am recommending the SiteScan testing service for Google Analytics.
