Someone got a hold of some screenshots of Gatineau, Microsoft's new Web Analytics platform that has been super, hush-hush, secret over the last year. As some might recall, Gaitineau was developed from LiveStats - and I wrote about it early this year in OK, so Microsoft's Analytics is really DeepMetrix reborn as "Gatineau".

Consider this - the first screenshot shows a Process Funnel - which means that you'll be able to define a set of URLs/interactions that you can look at traffic going into and coming out of. I like the visualization aspect but need to know a bit more about what's behind it.
Also, while the second and third charts look like they are jazzed up versions of LiveStats, there's AdCenter data merged into those charts that confirms Gatineau will have a different focus than Google Analytics.
For one thing, breaking down the traffic by Gender Segment is something Google Analytics can't do today.
Thanks to Sebastian at WebAnalyticsBook for this tip which comes to us from David Taylor.
