I've been scratching my head working on ways to reach home builders for architects and sell house plans - search engines don't seem to yield much result and there's a lot of repeat customers but not that many new ones.
Well, one thing that's being tried now is creating custom "Webisodes" to create Buzz for Real Estate builders according to MarketingVox.
".....Cressey Developers, based in Vancouver, has created Donovan Life, a series of online shorts that follow the young, single residents of The Donovan, a building under construction in Vancouver's trendy Yaletown neighborhood.
The webisodes (think Sex and the City) are designed to capture the attention of the online audience and connect with them in a way that traditional marketing isn't. Realtors are increasingly turning to tactics such as this and other online efforts to follow the audience."
Really? I have to say I am forming a "emotional attachment" just by watching the clips. I think I'm hooked, I'll have to watch them all.
Now, this is really different approach to engagement but it make a lot of sense to me - must have been pretty expensive to create these videos - but it looks like money is not a problem for Cressey Developers! Interesting.
