Visual Sciences - merged with WEbSideStory earlier this year - we serve 300 clients with 300+ Hugh Dynamic Range in the market. While we may call ourselves 'Web Analytics products.
Visual Sciences Platform 4 is tracking Visual Mail, Visual Call, Visual Store - built a migration path from HBX and move from HBX and go to Visual HBX to begin to harness the power of Visual Sciences platform for HBX.
When you buy a platform - invest in a career
Note: Visual Sciences has a great platform - the very best in the industry - they are just beginning to show it. As June Li and I discussed today, many companies don't "get it" until they work through many of the more complex problems (IE: Many Omniture shops would be ideal customers for Visual Sciences - once they run up to the limitations of Omniture).
Also Visual HBX is a great start in the right direction plus setting up booths in many shows like MiXX, EMetrics Summit, Ad-Tech.
On the other hand - until you see Visual Sciences - it's almost impossible to understand it's power - and until you have faced the problems that Visual Sciences attempts to solve - it's difficult, if not impossible to translate verbally. You must see it.
What I would have rather heard today - the talk would have gone like this:
- You have millions of tags that you have to update for every time you make a change in Analytics Platform? YES/NO (count the hands)
- would you like to ELIMINATE tagging your pages? (YES /NO)
OK - we have a solution for you.........
AND ..... do you want to categorize data across channels in real time anyway that you want and as many ways as you want by as many individuals as need to see it in REAL TIME? (YES /NO)?
OK ...wehave the solution for you ...........
And that was not part of the speech today ...and it needs to be.

You say "Many Omniture shops would be ideal customers for Visual Sciences - once they run up to the limitations of Omniture". What types of Omniture limitations are you referring to, and do you think Omniture, who just bought Visual Sciences today, is likely to force-migrate VS customers to Omniture, or the other way around?
