I guess everyone already knows that Google bought YouTube, as reported last night, for 1.65 Billion Dollars - ending the speculation about who was going to acquire YouTube or if YouTube can our should be acquired.
"Google is buying YouTube in an all-stock deal worth $1.65 billion. YouTube will continue to retain its brand, as well as all 67 employees, including co-founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year. Investors applauded the possible acquisition as Google shares climbed $8.50, or 2 percent, to close at $429 on the Nasdaq Stock Market."
I also mentioned the speculation about the purchase to Interview with Drew Ianni - new chair of Ad-Tech yesterday but left it out of the interview because it was still speculation at that point.
