Just heard about and confirmed that Google Blogger Search is part of the Google News page and when you search for anything in Google News, you'll see, at the bottom of the news result page, an option to also perform a search on blogger.
For example: Search on Ad-Tech in Google News and here's what happens:
http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&ie=UTF-8&q=Ad-Tech
Bottom of page: New! More ways to find the latest on Ad-Tech:
http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch?hl=en&client=news&q=Ad-Tech&ie=UTF8
And guess who's interview is the second result?

I would think this new feature should increase the traffic to my blog(s) as the potential to execute Blogger Searches increases the odds a blog will get news search traffic.
On the other hand - I don't like the search being on the bottom of the news result page - I know it's logical that it be at the bottom - but I'd rather it be in the left or right part of the search results page - that way it can be seen more easily.
