Your Seo Plan interviews Avinash Kaushik

The Seo One hour a day book by Jennifer Grappone looked interesting - but I’m not normally into hour a day or increase your traffic in one weekend kind of books - they’re not satisfying to me and they sort of trivialize what I do.

It may be that the bar is constantly being raised and we have to keep improving or else we fall behind - now everyone can be an SEO Expert in a couple of hours - or maybe not.

My point is - I looked at the book and started walking the other way because I’m not the target audience - just like the Search Engine Standard totally turns me off because I’m not the target audience - but if it takes just a couple of hours to learn all the ins and outs of what I do, it’s probably time for me to move to something else since it’s become a commodity and god knows, you do not want to be viewed as a commodity.

Having said that, the author(s) of the Seo One hour a day book interviewed one of my favorite people, Avinash Kaushik - and the interview is here - it looks pretty good!

Maybe i’d feel better about reading, or even wanting to read the Search Engine Optimization an hour a day …if it were called something else.  But that’s me.

Hi Marshall!
As the co-author of “SEO: An Hour A Day” I feel compelled to defend our book! One hour a day is no quick fix - it’s actually a large time committment over weeks and months. Our idea is that folks will integrate SEO ideas into their daily schedule and it will become a labor of love.

Send me your snail mail address and I will send you a copy, gratis, to see for yourself.

best,
Gradiva

Helo Marshall!

That book (Seo One hour a day book by Jennifer Grappone) is very good for me as newbie to this whole SEO-thing.
Maybe only because I am the target audience?

just my 2 cents
