Search Engine Strategies Coverage - San Jose

Posted by Marshall on August 07, 2006 | Link It

I wish I was at SES San Jose this week  - the San Jose conference is always special and usually there is a party at the GooglePlex, among other things - most of the major search engines are based in Silicon Valley.   Alas, I’m not there - this time - but there’s some really good blog coverage at Search Engine RoundTable and Online Marketing Blog

I really enjoyed speaking to Lee Odden at Webmasterworld Pubcon Boston, earlier this year; Lee really knows Search, and his company, TopRank is located in Minneapolis, MN (a city I spent 5 years of my life in), so I found Lee Odden great to talk with. I would definately read Online Marketing Blog for any coverage of SES or any of the other conferences Lee goes to.

In fact, Lee Odden got a scoop with PRWeb Acquired by Vocus - and that’s a big deal as a lot of people use PRWEB to do press releases.  There’s also some great photos that Lee Odden took today Day One of SES San Jose 2006 and I liked that he went to the Museum (after all, Webmetricsguru is an artist too).
