On the 4th of July I tried posting about FireWorks to see if i could drive more traffic to my site - here’s the post: FireWork Shows and Buzz on the 4th of July.

I created a download that recorded the traffic I got (about 30 extra visits because of this post) and you can now Download my Fireworks Traffic Study file.    I think it would have been better if I had posted on Fireworks a couple of days before the 4th to generate much more traffic.  As it was, I was pretty impressed with how quickly Yahoo News picked up my blog posts and some of the queries I came up for.

If anyone has feedback, let me know - I’d love to figure out how to make Holiday Posting and Traffic Generation better - create metrics around it.
