When Do We Turn Down a Prospective SEO Client?

Posted by Marshall on June 27, 2006 | Link It

Don’t see too many posts about turning down clients, esp SEO clients.  When I was at Webmasterworld Las Vegas, a couple of years ago, I tried giving away a potential client who I knew was going to be trouble (they had burned through 3-4 SEO firms in a couple of years).

What I’ve come to understand that some arrangements are too unstable to be productive in the long run because of how some business is structured and how decisions are made.  NO matter who is handling the SEO, it will be unsuccessful ,in the long run with such a company structure.

When you recognize a problem in a potential client, be it intuition or observation - think carefully before accepting such a client.
