As an artist and a Web Metrics Analyst Writer I keep my eye out for all kinds of things that are unusual.   Blogs and the web have been an enabler of Art - and it’s really impressive to see how far along some artists are in merging 2D and 3D reality.

Julian Beever is an English artist who’s famous for his art on the pavement of England, France, Germany, United States, Australia and Belgium. He gives to his drawings an amazing 3D illusion.

I found sidewalk art that is further along in merging 2D and 3D than has been done before - this is some to the finest pictures I’ve seen.  I’d love to know if some of these are in NYC and are still up - I’d like to personally go and take a look.  

Julian’s work it the best I’ve ever seen of this type of art - and it’s more than a craft - this is really art.  I like to see Julian do his work on Canvas and - perhaps, something with Computer art - something that actually works though the internet.
