Google AdWords Keyword Research Tool now available outside of Adwords Accounts

The Google AdWords Keyword Research tool has some very nice features but till now, one annoying attribute - you had to have an active Google AdWords account in order to access the tool.   Just found out from SeoBook the Keyword Research Tool is now available to anyone even if you don’t have an AdWords Account (just click on the Keyword Research Tool link to go to it).

This is what I use Google’s Keyword Research tool for:

1. Semantic Analysis of pages (see what Google thinks the page is about)

2. Keyword Analysis - Use the Keyword Research tool to come up with the best keywords based on the page content.  Advertiser Demand and Search Volumes are indicated on a scale of 1-5.   I usually sort by Search Volume and take the top 10-15 keyword phrases.

3. Sesional trending is now included - so you can now use the tool to find out what the demand for a keyword might be at different times of a year.

4. I don’t do anything with pricing data - but you can do that as well with this tool.

I reccomend using the Google Keyword Research tool whenever your trying to come up with keywords for a page.

Here’s more from SeoBook:

"They also added seasonal search volume data for global and local searches, and allowed it to be accessible by match type (ie: broad, phrase, exact)".

"As Google, Yahoo! and MSN jocky for position you can bet that their keyword research tools are only going to get better - although I don’t think Yahoo!’s crusty old tool has changed in about a decade hehehe."
