
Every so often I sit back and look at my weblogs to see how people are coming to my sites (both for SEO and for Web Analytics). I have SiteMeter to work with for this Blog (not the analytics tool of choice, but sufficent for what I'm going to cover here).
1. Look at your visitors and how they came to the site, look for clues that might key you into what visitors find interesting.
Recently I wrote about BzzAgent - it appears someone associated with the BzzAgent campaign for "Take5" found my blog. Here's some details on the "who" and "why" of this search.

The very first search result tells me that Take5 is a Hershey's Brand - Hershey is paying BzzAgent to run a Buzz Marketing campaign for Take5; whom ever is doing the search is probably someone directly connected with that campaign.
Much insight from a Web Analtyics and Search Optimization point of view can be gathered by looking at your weblogs as if your a detective.
